Zurich Cantonal Bank - intranet relaunch

Initial position

The technical platform on which the intranet was constructed was too costly and the user interface was inefficient. Moreover, the intranet needed to be on the same technical platform as the internet.

Solution

As part of the relaunch, the Zurich Cantonal Bank’s existing intranet was completely remodeled.

One of the cornerstones of the ZKB intranet is the needs-oriented, personalized welcome page which enables users to quickly and efficiently process the information that is of relevance to them. The technical basis of the ZKB intranet is WCMS Day Communiqué.

Benefits

A large volume of information is accessible to a number of target groups, in line with their varying information needs. Information is made available according to information management principles, which minimizes the risk of the user becoming overwhelmed.
