Brilliant award night for Unic: six projects, one gold, one silver and twelve bronzes at Best of Swiss Web Award 2017

Unic’s projects Mammut, FOOBY, Jungfrau Railways, City of Zürich, LLB and AXA virtually swept the board that evening. Apart from the 13 silver and bronze awards, Unic together with Mammut got themselves also one of the sought-after Gold Buoys.

In total, 389 digital projects competed this year for one of the sought-after Buoys - 83 of them made it on the shortlist. Yesterday evening in the Kongresshaus in Zürich they looked forward to getting a Best of Swiss Web Award 2017.

FOOBY – web presence of the culinary brand by Coop

Together with Coop, the project partners - Unic and Notch Interactive - are pleased with the following distinctions for FOOBY, the new culinary brand of the Swiss company:

  • Silver in “Marketing” category
  • Bronze in “Usability” category
  • Bronze in “Technology” category
  • Bronze in “Mobile Web” category

Mammut - experience digital adventures

With the new web presence worldwide and with the customer-oriented B2C online shop, Mammut Sports Group together with Unic enter the path towards the digital future. The project won the gold in “Usability” category for the emotional and user-friendly digital brand experience.

According to Dr. Daniel Felix, the jury president of “Usability” category, particularly convincing were “the beautiful visual experience, the good navigation as well as the smart filter capabilities, which provide various manners of access to the contents and enable to search the offer from different points of view.”

Jungfrau Railways - digital journey into a breath-taking visual experience

The inspiration, planning and booking platform for the Jungfrau Railways region was re-designed, re-planned and re-implemented by Unic. The project was successful in the master nomination and was convincing in the following five categories:

  • Bronze in “Business” category
  • Bronze in “Marketing” category
  • Bronze in “Usability” category
  • Bronze in “Public Affairs” category
  • Bronze in “Technology” category

AXA – modern corporate website with self-service

For the largest insurance company of Switzerland, AXA, Unic designed a web presence satisfying the demanding customers and enabling independent and user-friendly interaction. The project convinced the jury at the Best of Swiss Web Award in the following categories:

  • Bronze in “Usability” category
  • Bronze in “Mobile Web” category

Zürich – a city becomes mobile

Thanks to the new responsive design by Unic the website of the City of Zürich can now be accessed in an optimum manner also on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. Therefore, the platform won the bronze in “Public Affairs” category.

LLB – personal banking relationship in the digital world

LLB’s website designed and implemented by Unic und Sevenval Technologies GmbH is adapted to each device. The customer benefits from a user-friendly interactive platform with relevant information and a high service level. LLB and Unic are happy about the bronze in “Usability” category.
