Switzerland Tourism – In Love With Switzerland
MySwitzerland.com is enthusiastic about Switzerland as a travel destination. The extensive platform accompanies travellers from inspiration through information to planning. It also creates a world of experience in which users immerse themselves thanks to impressive images, virtual reality elements and authentic sounds.
Users can find all useful information for planning excursions and experiences directly on the site: Arrival, tickets, bathing weather, customs or facts about geography, currency or important numbers – all within a click.
Our Master Candidate Number 1
The relaunch is a joint venture with Switzerland Tourism and Hinderling Volkart. Our experts are responsible for the technical conception and architecture, the complex backend development and integration of the existing surrounding systems as well as the operation and georedundant hosting of the infrastructure with a focus on high performance and availability. The strategic platform is based on Sitecore 9.
Post.ch – One Postal Service, One Experience
The Swiss Post had two aims – facilitating access to digital services and raising awareness of their products. The Swiss Post offers a wide range of digital services to a diverse target group. The new website should help customers find what they’re looking for quickly and easily, while keeping them happy in the process. We worked with the Swiss Post to change the structure and navigation bar, as well as provide a clear overview of the content and products and make them easily accessible to customers.
Our iterative agile collaboration based on human-centered design enabled us and the Swiss Post to deliver a consistent brand experience. Thanks to many bold prototypes and even more usability tests, as well as ongoing validation and refinements, customers can now easily find their way around the Swiss Post’s website post.ch.
Our Master Candidate Number 2
We have been supporting the Swiss Post on its path to digitalization for around 20 years. During our latest major project to update the website, we were in charge of user experience, design, and frontend to backend implementation on Sitecore 9. We also supported the Swiss Post in setting up the infrastructure and integrating the servers.
Sapros.ch – From the Hazard to the Product
Many people are exposed to hazards at work and in their free time. With its extensive prevention programs, Suva aims to support companies in creating a safe working environment for their employees and in preventing accidents at work and occupational illnesses. Sapros, the multi-vendor marketplace for safety products, plays a key role in this. Based on the existing hazards, it supports the buyers in selecting the right safety products.
Sapros.ch is not an e-commerce shop like any other. More than 60 vendors upload, manage and sell approximately 10,000 products here, constituting 50,000 articles. The goals of the relaunch were to safely guide buyers to the right product, in line with the motto, “from the hazard to the product”, and to reduce the time required to enter product details.
Our experts were in charge of the technical and functional concept development, as well as design, architecture and modelling of the complex product administration processes. Drupal 8 and Drupal Commerce 2 form the strategic basis behind sapros.ch.
Schweizer Fleisch – It’s All About the Little Things
Schweizerfleisch.ch, the new website for Schweizer Fleisch (an initiative by the Proviande Swiss meat cooperative) is all about showing customers the little things that make a big difference. The platform offers information and boosts appreciation for the product, while encouraging consumers to choose Swiss meat over imported products.
Schweizerfleisch.ch takes the marketing communications that were previously spread over eight different websites, multiple CMSs and an app, and bundles them all into one digital platform. This new platform aims to be the number one among meat producers in Switzerland. The goal is to use relevant and interesting content to convey the message of “the little things”.
Unic is responsible for consulting, concept development, SEO, digital analytics and design, as well as front and back end on Drupal 8, right through to operation.
SwissPass Smile – Much Experienced
SwissPass Smile has evolved from three different customer loyalty programmes for children and young people, Magic Ticket, Ticki Park and gleis7.ch. SBB's new digital platform personalises and improves the travel experience for children, young people and families. Before, during and after the journey.
With SwissPass Smile, Unic and TBWA have jointly developed a customer loyalty program that grows up with the users. The platform continuously adapts to the user's age and the associated changing needs. From the subscription and ticket offers to the content. So it is no longer just a matter of getting from A to B. The travel experience is enriched all round. Starting with the search for a suitable activity until you return home.
Sales Manual 2.0 for Jungfrau Railways
With the Sales Manual 2.0, Jungfrau Railways has digitally transformed the way its products are sold in B2B markets in an evolutionary way. The Sales Manual enables the international sales organisation to create and present an up-to-date, tailor-made presentation at any time with just a few clicks and then share it with its leads and contacts as a personalised, navigable website. Optionally in one of 11 languages. The progressive webapp on Contentful makes it possible.
Design thinking, interviews and user shadowing were used to determine the Jungfrau Railways' working methods, needs and wishes. All content is presented through moving images. 3D animations give an idea of the localization process.
We have created a flexible, modular system that allows users to quickly select and adapt any information and change the sequence. This is because sales staff have to deal with heterogeneous situations: The duration of a presentation ranges from 10 to 60 minutes, the audience from 1 to 100 people.
Who will win?
The 109-strong jury of experts met on 24 February and selected 94 projects from a total of 378 submissions that made it onto the shortlist in at least one category. These are among the best digital projects of the year.
We are curious to see who will be competing in the various categories at the Best of Swiss Web Award Night on 10 June and which project will take home the Master of Swiss Web. Give our projects your vote, subscribe to the Netzwoche newsletter until the 22th of March and take part in the Netzwoche public voting for the Master's choice.
Six of seven submitted projects made it onto the shortlist – we are extremely proud!
We are proud of the performance of our colleagues! We would like to thank our customers Switzerland Tourism, Swiss Post, SBB, Suva, Jungfrau Railways and Proviande for their cooperation and the achieved result of the shortlist nomination. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the BoSW Award Night!
