LAAX+ is the sales solution from the Weisse Arena Group (WAG) used by skiers to buy tickets online in three categories. Unic has now made this demand-driven sales solution available for the smartphone. The design and processes have been optimised for the small screen and implemented using jQuery Mobile. Customers use their WAG login information and store user data, such as credit card information or key cards. They then simply buy the lift ticket on the move, save it on their personal key card and go straight to the lift without having to queue.
LAAX+ allows WAG to adjust ticket prices and allocations with very little effort. WAG can therefore react quickly to fluctuating demand and optimise the yield management. By porting this solution to smartphones, WAG has extended its online lead over its competitors. Customers benefit from a sales solution that is easy to understand and optimised for usability. The stored user data speeds up and simplifies the buying process. On busy days in particular, visitors can avoid long waits at the ticket office and thus have more time to spend on the piste.
Unic grasped and implemented the project goals perfectly, advising us particularly well on mobile commerce, which has been a new challenge for us.
