With the new email marketing system, Swisslos sends millions of personalised emails every week. Unic integrated Inxmail into the existing infrastructure and runs the application in Swisslos’ own computer centre.
Swisslos sends millions of personalised emails every week based on highly sensitive data. A large portion of these are sent automatically or are triggered by customer behaviour: notifications of winnings, information on the jackpot or the next draw in a game. Unic has developed an email marketing system that puts application automation, security and simplicity at the forefront. The behaviour of customer segments can be measured easily and is used as the basis for personalisation. The defined target groups are processed using 30 mail formats with a range of variables and displayed optimally for mobile end devices.
The integration of the solution into the Swisslos computer centre delivers security and makes it easier to connect the new solution to peripheral systems. Recipients and content are passed seamlessly to the new systems and can be compared and maintained. Unic used the email marketing system from Inxmail for the project. Along with the integration capability, the licence conditions are particularly beneficial for Swisslos: the costs are incurred per user and not per email sent, as is usually the case.
