UBS has now launched an online shop for the customer loyalty program UBS KeyClub. UBS customers can select between rewards from more than 15 partner companies and redeem their loyalty points (KeyClub points) electronically. They also have the possibility of paying with paper vouchers or credit card. To ensure optimal user-friendliness, access to the shop is integrated into the UBS e-banking platform. The new shop can be flexibly expanded while interfaces to the more than15 premium partners take care of logistics.
The KeyClub eStore: where everyone scores points
In order to make the UBS customer loyalty program “KeyClub ePoints” available to customers electronically, Unic added extra features to the hybris commerce solution. Customers can spend earned points in the online shop or they can share points with friends – even if their friends are not UBS customers. The shop has two fronts for practical reasons: a personalized shop with access via an e-banking login, and a public shop where non-UBS customers can redeem points they have received. Unic has been able to fulfill UBS’s ambitious road map in terms of scope and delivered a successful project on time.
An innovative channel to address new customers
The new KeyClub eStore significantly raises the attractiveness of the UBS KeyClub.
Customers have the choice: they can redeem their KeyClub points in the new shop either in traditional paper form or electronically. In addition, with points also being shared with non-UBS customers, the bank has created a further channel to address new customers.
