We are proud and delighted: two apps from Unic have made it onto the Master shortlist for Best of Swiss Apps 2025. The Nordic Challenge “Alle laufen lang” (Everyone runs long) for Graubünden Ferien and the redesigned app from 20 Minuten are among the eleven best projects in Switzerland. They are now in the running for the coveted Master of Swiss Apps 2025 award.
From Best of Swiss Web to Best of Swiss Apps
Following our success at the Best of Swiss Web Awards, we are delighted to announce that we have received two nominations at the Best of Swiss Apps awards. Best of Swiss Apps is the most important award for mobile applications in Switzerland. The winners will be announced on November 6, 2025, at the Kongresshaus Zurich.
This year's nominations show that UX design, technology, and creativity are merging to create mobile experiences that truly inspire users.
Master's candidate number 1: Nordic Challenge “Everyone runs long distances”
The Nordic Challenge app turns cross-country skiing in Graubünden into a fun, digital experience. With gamification, community features, and easy onboarding, it motivates beginners and pros alike to discover new trails. Virtual ibexes, challenges, and achievements provide additional motivation.
The Nordic Challenge creates the ideal mix of motivation, exercise, and digital storytelling—a prime example of user-centered app design.
