The content and the access to the website, as well as the visual appearance have been completely redesigned with the needs of the LUKS website visitors in mind.

Patients and their relatives, referring physicians and potential employees have easy access to any information of interest to them. Because the new website is focused on the most important information, it impresses visitors with its ease of use despite the complexity of large hospital with multiple locations it serves.

LUKS is the largest central hospital in Switzerland. Specialised multi-disciplinary teams offer innovative top quality medical services. Patients and their relatives, referring physicians and potential employees have easy access to any information of interest to them. The new website is focused on the important information and impresses visitors with its ease of use, even though it deals with a large and complex hospital.
What, how, where and who?
LUKS differs significantly from its competitors thanks to consistent simplification. Complex (internal) concepts and organisational structure are made simple according to the simple rule: WHAT and HOW (treatment offering), as well as WHERE (locations) and WHO (specialist). The concept allows for in depth scaling in search for specialist areas and treatment offerings, as well as the different clinics, institutes and centres.
Find the right specialist
LUKS has more than 7,000 employees performing different tasks. Now you can look up doctors and health professionals not only by their name but also by their department or specialist title.
Where history is being written
When the Swiss Air-Rescue Rega helicopter lands. When someone is able to walk again. When the world suddenly stops turning. When two people talk. When someone is looking forward to lunch. This is also typical LUKS. The magazine-like area called “Your LUKS” supplements the subject-specific content with illustrative stories, facts and figures.
We are enthusiastic and we really enjoy our new web presence. We received a lot of positive feedback from our various stakeholders, which shows us that we have taken the right way together with the experts from Unic.
