The iconic red train in the digital world
RhB’s customers are as diversified as the regions stretching along its railway lines, including delighted railway enthusiasts from all over the world, commuters or sustainable transport companies. With interviews and analyses carried out in the preliminary stages of the project, the final concept has precisely met the client’s requirements. It gave rise to a responsive website which allows users to interactively discover the holiday region of Grisons, as well as obtain information on rail services and train schedules.
An all-in-one platform
The rhb.ch website is the starting point to a travel adventure, with a virtual tour of the railway network and the highlights of the Rhaetian Railway presented through an interactive experience map following the Look & Feel of the website. A central feature of the rhb.ch website, the map gives a clear overview and access to a wide range of railway experiences.
From desktop to mobile via tablet
The Glacier Express trip planner and booking process have been completely transformed to implement responsive web design. This facilitates ticket purchases and the obligatory seat reservation process, as well as allows RhB customers to search for connections anytime and anywhere - using a device of their choice.
The path to destination
The rhb.ch website uses over 60 newly designed icons to help users find their way to required information or functionalities.
