A Shiny Performance at the Best of Swiss Web Award Night

It was a special award night. Covid-19 dampened the party mood, but there were still many moments of jubilation for us. We are very happy about the brilliant balance: Our projects won 3x gold, 4x silver, 7x bronze and as a crowing touch the Master of Swiss Web.

Moments of jubilation despite subdued mood

A special Best of Swiss Web Award Night dedicated to Covid-19: compulsory masks on the way to the stage, division of guests into sectors, limitation of the buoys to two persons: Sensible measures in view of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases, but they dampened the otherwise so exuberant mood at the prestigious get-together of the Swiss web industry. A big thank you to the organisers, who spared no effort to provide a protected setting for the award ceremony.

Nevertheless, there were numerous moments of jubilation for us. We can be very pleased with the brilliant results: we won a total of 3x gold, 4x silver, 7x bronze and as a crowing touch the Master of Swiss Web.

Congratulations to all those who worked on the successful projects. Your passion and commitment are impressive.

3x gold, 2x silver and finally the Master for Switzerland Tourism

MySwitzerland.com inspires enthusiasm for Switzerland as a travel destination. The relaunch is a joint venture with Switzerland Tourism and Hinderling Volkart. The comprehensive, innovative platform accompanies travellers from inspiration to information and planning. It also creates a world of experience into which users can immerse themselves thanks to impressive images, virtual reality elements and authentic soundscapes.

Together with Switzerland Tourism and Hinderling Volkart, we are delighted about the following awards:

  • Gold in the Technology category
  • Gold in the Usability category
  • Gold in the Creation category
  • Silver in the category Marketing and in the category Innovation
  • Bronze in the category Public Value

The laudation of the Jury Technology: "The newly realised website of Switzerland Tourism is much more than a relaunch. Its worldwide visibility is guaranteed by a technical infrastructure that is tailored to the respective target markets. The site was realised with a great deal of attention to detail and a noticeable performance claim. The jury was very impressed by the courageous use of the extremely impressive interactive visual journey through Switzerland. This set a new benchmark in the tourism sector".

The jury's laudation for usability: "The new appearance of MySwitzerland.com is convincing all along the line. The very extensive information is presented in a clear and very appealing way and, thanks to clever navigation options, is a great source of inspiration for Switzerland. The clear language, the impressive pictures, videos, authentic soundscape and the preparation of the content manage to motivate and immerse the user in the subject matter. Accessibility is also very well implemented for this purpose".

Thanks to many courageous prototypes, even more usability tests and ongoing validation, customers can now find their way around the Swiss Post portal with ease.

With Sales Manual 2.0, the tourism organisation has digitally transformed the way its products are sold in B2B markets in an evolutionary way: A progressive webapp enables the international sales crew to create and present an up-to-date presentation in one of 11 languages at any time with just a few clicks and then share it with their contacts as a personalised, navigable website.

We are very happy about bronze in the category Usability.

"The subtle difference" of Swiss meat - this is what the new website schweizerfleisch.ch shows consumers. The platform deepens the knowledge about Swiss meat, increases the appreciation in the product and promotes a conscious consumption away from imported to Swiss meat.
