Unic wins the Sitecore Experience Award

Experiences that fascinate: Unic, together with Liechtensteinischen Landesbank, wins the Sitecore Experience Award for «Best Web Content Experience». With the recent award, Sitecore has honoured Unic for the twelth time.

Sitecore grants its Experience Awards to brands that successfully apply Sitecore technologies to create customer-oriented worlds of digital experience. Together with Liechtensteinischen Landesbank (LLB) we have received this year's award in the category “Best Web Content Experience” in Central and Eastern Europe. Markus Haschka, CEO at Unic comments: “We are incredibly proud. It is our passion to create experiences, inspire our users. I congratulate the entire project team that has contributed to this success story.”

A seamless, personalised customer experience

With this award, the jury intends to honour the unique approach of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank that involves combining communication content available on the bank’s website with e-banking to create a seamless, secure and personalised customer experience.

In the digital world, the LLB – an organisation founded in 1861 – merges tradition and innovation. To be able to offer a modern and reliable customer experience, the company has transformed its website into a responsive portal that combines information and online banking services.

Commenting on the award, Michaela Alt, Head of Marketing at the LLB Group, said: “Eliminating the juxtaposition of information and transaction and merging the two was an important step and a major challenge for us redesigning our digital offerings. By implementing this concept, we have laid the foundation for a novel, pioneering customer experience and are already working on further solutions and services that will be even better tailored to the needs of our customers.”

The portal seamlessly connects content, services and transactions from a single entry point. The website users receive Calls to Action based on their past visits, viewed content and promotions. After the user logs in, his experience is additionally personalised based on data from his previous interactions and services he used. With this integration, the Liechtensteinische Landesbank enhances the duration of users’ online visits and promotes a direct manner of approaching its customers. The bank is now able to further boost customer satisfaction, which makes it well positioned to engage in cross-selling and up-selling.

We create experience

The benchmark in the category Best Web Content Experience was set high. The requirement was to create an intuitive content experience that would be clear and understandable as well as rich, meaningful and compelling. The content offered should promote experiences that can be created across channels and intensify the customer journey. In addition, the website should convey interactive and visual experiences and reflect brand values. There were a record number of more than 200 Sitecore Experience Award submissions this year.

“We are very proud that our solution, which we developed together with the LLB and our partners Ergon Informatik AG and Sevenval Technologies GmbH, has met the jury’s expectations”, says Irem Altioklar, Project Manager at Unic. “This award has primarily been granted for our consistent focus on the fusion of technology and user proximity. Our aim is to create unique and inspiring experience.”

An impressive Sitecore Award History

The recent award is the twelth time Sitecore has honoured us for our solutions. The impressive series of events began in 2012 – this was when we, together with Swiss & Global Asset Management, received the “Site of the Year” Award. In the following year, as many as four Unic projects were awarded: JURA Elektroapparate in the category «Best E-Commerce Site» and as overall winner DACH, BEKB (in the category “Best Financial Services Site”), PALFINGER (for “Best System Integration”) and Zurich (for “Best Mobile Site”).

In 2015, the Sitecore Experience Awards were granted for the first time: in that year Feller and SUVA each received this distinction. In 2016, Swiss Post received the Experience Award for “Best Use of Content Management” and crowned the year with the “People’s Choice Award” In 2017, BLS received an award for “Best Content-Strategy”.
